Therapy with David
I'm David Bailie. I'm a psychotherapist providing integrative, compassion-focused therapy in-person and online in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
My aim is to help people understand themselves more deeply, heal old wounds, and build stronger, more authentic relationships with themselves and others. All of this so that they can live fuller, more meaningful lives.
Whether you're struggling with self-esteem, navigating loss and grief, finding a particular relationship challenging, or feel like you need emotional support, I'll meet you where you are and we'll work together to make sense of what's happening and find the best way forward.
I'm so glad you found me.
Change is Possible
Reaching out to a professional for help and to work through the issues and challenges you're facing is brave. And it's already a step towards change.
I see you, and you're very welcome here.
"The task of a lifetime is to become who you truly are."

New to Therapy?
Here's how we begin
Step 1: Get in touch
Reach out via email or phone to enquire about therapy and let me know a little about what you’d like support with. I’ll respond as soon as I can to arrange an initial assessment, either in person or online.
Step 2: Your initial assessment
This is a gentle starting point where we explore what’s brought you to therapy and whether working together feels right. You’ll have space to ask questions and get a sense of how I work, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Step 3: Therapy sessions
Therapy is a collaborative, reflective space to explore your experiences, emotions, and patterns at a pace that feels right for you. We work together to make sense of what’s happening and support meaningful change.
You don't need to have the right words or a clear plan — just a willingness to begin.
